Who we are
Our Care is run by Slade Placid, in New Zealand. It's a shared medicine record for families, being tried with a small number of families. This statement covers this website, ourcare.app. Families in the pilot get a separate privacy statement for the app itself before they start.

What we collect
Only what you give us on the sign-up form:
- your name and email address;
- who you help with medicines, and how many people share the job;
- what you tell us about how Our Care could help, if you answer that question;
- whether you'd like to join the waitlist or just hear news;
- which page you signed up from, and the date.
We don't ask for medicine or health details, and we don't record your IP address. If your answer mentions any health details, we keep them with the rest of your sign-up, use them only to understand your family's situation, and delete them whenever you ask.
Why we collect it
To contact you about the pilot, or to send the news you asked for, and to understand which families Our Care suits and how it could help them. We don't use it for anything else.
Who sees it
Only the people running Our Care. We don't sell it or share it with anyone for marketing.
Where it's kept
Sign-ups are stored in a database run by Cloudflare, which hosts this website. Cloudflare's servers may be outside New Zealand. We also get a copy of each sign-up by email, so we can reply; our email provider's servers may also be outside New Zealand.
The spam check
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a program, is filling it in. Turnstile looks at information from your browser to do this. Cloudflare's privacy policy explains how it handles that information.
Counting visits
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to each page, so we can see which pages help. It doesn't use cookies, and it doesn't follow you to other websites.
Cookies
This website doesn't set any cookies of its own.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, or until we stop running the pilot and sending news. Then we delete it.
Seeing, correcting or deleting it
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time. Email contact@ourcare.app, and we'll reply within 20 working days.
If something goes wrong
If a privacy breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll tell you and the Privacy Commissioner as soon as we can.
Concerns
If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Changes
If we change this statement, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
